Hot Numbers, Cambridge – Friday 29 September
We sounded awesome last night preparing for Hot Numbers. Grab your seat before 7.30pm.
Hot Numbers
I’m looking forward to this Friday (29th), playing at Hot Numbers in Cambridge. I don’t often get to perform in my home town so this is a real treat. The musicians in my Turquoise band are pretty awesome so everyone is in for a great time. We’re playing a very eclectic mix over two sets, just to keep the audience (and ourselves) guessing!! 😉
Toft Beer Festival 1-3 September 2017
It was a fabulous weekend for those attending our village beer festival, the best ever thanks to the hard work of the organisers. We had some great music on Saturday evening and I really enjoyed being part of it. Continue reading “Toft Beer Festival 1-3 September 2017”
Gearing up for France
I’m really excited and looking forward to 6 days singing jazz and blues in France so taking a few days chill-out time before I leave on 12 August.
A GREAT EVENING AT SCOTSDALES
Thank you Scotsdales audience for another wonderful evening on Thursday 13 July, we loved playing for you. It was my 11th year of performing this annual event and it’s so encouraging to see you returning year after year. Thank you also for the generosity you showed when we ‘shook the buckets’ for the Dosoco Foundation.
And thank you Scotsdales for the amazing hospitality you always give at this event.
Scotsdales
We’re ramping up towards the Scotsdale gig tomorrow. The band sounded amazing in rehearsal last night.
WE ARE SOUND
An amazing gig last night in Bury St Edmunds. ‘WE ARE SOUND’ gave a superb performance of a very eclectic set of music in their sold-out ‘BURST’ concert. The audience loved it and treated the singers and musicians to a standing ovation. Thank you Andrea Cockerton for making it happen yet again. You are a star and it’s a privilege to be part of it.
The Ice House Gig
I’m looking forward to ‘guesting’ a few numbers with the Kingston Blues Band at the Ice House in Dry Drayton, Cambs on Friday 16th June.
We Are Sound
We had an amazing time on Sunday rehearsing for the BURST gig in Bury St Edmunds on Saturday 8 July. The lovely Fyfe Dangerfield of the Guillimots joined us to hear our cover of his gorgeous song, Little Bear, which we will perform during the Bury gig. We then spent time being recorded and directed by Fyfe for one of his current music projects. It was such a privilege and delight. He’s a very special person and a lovely family man.
