Cambridge Folk Festival

It was a great festival and such fun being with We Are Sound to sing alongside the great band ‘Darlingside’ on their track Go Back.  I managed to grab a pic with Darlingside’s gorgeous David Senft. Alex Elbro did even better after interviewing the band!!  The two lovely policemen decided not to arrest me, but stuck a hat on me and asked me to cover their tea-break 😳 😆

SCOTSDALE’S CONCERT WILL BE A SCORCHER!

This annual concert comes around so quickly and  tomorrow Thursday (5th July) will be the twelfth year that we’ve played this outdoor event. It’s always packed with an enthusiastic audience, and we’ve only ever had to play indoors  once due to inclement weather.  So, tomorrow promises to be a glorious evening and Scotsdales complementary hospitality will be as wonderful as ever, no ticket needed, just turn up.

Cruising the Rhine

It was a privilege to perform a jazz concert with Hungarian pianist  Zoltan Kovacs on MS Oscar Wilde in Switzerland. The 160 guests were a fabulous group of people and the crew were absolutely amazing.

Lavender and Lace

Lavender and Lace is now on my YouTube channel and I’m looking forward to discussing it with BBC Cambridgeshire’s  Sue Marchant on Sunday 3 June. I’ll be joined by Gerry Prusiewicz and Cathy Matthews who’s musicianship has helped make this track so beautiful.)

A fabulous time in Budleigh Salterton

We had a great time playing jazz and blues and kicking off the Budleigh Salterton Gala Week.  I was there for 6 days staying at the best B n B ever, so thank you Nicki for your wonderful hospitality in the fabulous setting of ‘Pebbles.’

Thank you Bowmers restaurant for the best Crab Soufflé I’ve ever eaten.

Musicians Pat Brandon, Marius Rudnick, Jim Newton and Peter Canter  were just brilliant, many thanks for your wonderful musicianship.

Road Dr Revue band

It’s such a privilege to sing and make music with these guys, it’s a masterclass in the blues every time and such great fun.
